It all star ts with an innovative device installed
in your vehicles. Combining GPS and SkyTel technology, the device
keeps track of virtually everything you’d want to know about
the vehicle – things like speed, location, and direction of
travel. You can also use FleetHawk to tap into certain components
of the vehicle’s electrical system.
The FleetHawk system provides digital and analog
I/O por ts that you can use to monitor ignition status, door locks,
warning lights, engine or payload temperatures, and more. FleetHawk
will record the status of these components, plus, you can receive
aler ts when the status of any of these items changes.
The device sends this data via the SkyTel 2Way
network to the FleetHawk database. You can the access the reported
data on the FleetHawk website.
